Ungulates of BC
This new display has been created to show what the actual heights are of these animals compared to one another. There will also be an opportunity to compare your own height with that of the Moose, White tailed Deer, Mule Deer and Roosevelt Elk. It is impressive to stand beside the moose as it towers over you at its shoulder height of six feet.
Owls of BC
This new display has been created to show The various species of owls that are found in parts of British Columbia. The backdrop for the owl selection is a contribution recently finished (April 2010) by art students as part of a final project for their course. The display includes the Saw Whet Owl, Great Horned Owl, Barn Owl, Snowy Owl,Short Eared Owl, Long Eared Owl, Great Grey Owl,Northern Boreal Owl and Barred Owl.
